ABEC 3: A standard value used to measure the w tolerance of the surface of the roller bearings. There are five classes: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. The higher the ABEC class the greater the precision, efficiency and speed capability, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating parts. All quality manufacturers around the world use at least ABEC 1 as standard. At Enduro the minimum standard is ABEC 3. ABEC 3: Steel balls Grade 10. Track in an alloy of chrome 52100 and high-quality carbon. ABEC 3 standard. Depending on their application, these bearings use LLU or LLB seals; even when marked with 2RS. LLB: Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a little further by machining a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance compared to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single «lip» of a thick seal that rubs against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 lips of seals, fine like a razor blade that slides in a notch with a light contact. The outer «lip» keeps out water and impurities, while the inner seal retains grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between services.
