Care+ is extruded; this heat treatment allows for better digestion of proteins from the food. The ingredients are tailored to the nutritional needs and mimic a natural diet. Each kibble has the same composition (All-in-One), resulting in no selective eating, so no leftovers, and no deficiencies in essential nutrients. The hard kibble supports the natural wear of teeth (Dental Function). The kibble also contains a balanced ratio of Omega-3 & Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (from corn, wheat, soy, and flaxseed); vitamin E for the body's cells; the right amount of crude fiber; essential vitamin C for guinea pigs; and tasty herbs.
