Imp optical cable

This optical audio cable is designed for transmitting a digital audio signal via a TosLink (optical S/PDIF) connection. The cable features TosLink male to TosLink male connectors and is used for digital audio connections between devices with an optical audio interface. The internal light guide consists of a polymer optical fiber (POF), which transmits the digital audio signal via light pulses. Optical audio cables are immune to electromagnetic interference because the signal is transmitted optically rather than electrically. The connectors are equipped with gold-plated contact surfaces and a robust PVC / ABS connector construction with integrated strain relief. The round cable construction with a PVC jacket protects the internal optical fiber from mechanical stress.
