Description

This ALLTEQ DIN to jack audio cable is used to connect audio equipment with a 5-pin DIN connector and equipment with a 3.5 mm jack connector. The cable is used, among other things, with Hi-Fi equipment such as cassette players, tuners, amplifiers, and recording devices. The cable has a DIN 5-pin male connector on one side and a 3.5 mm jack male connector on the other. This combination makes it possible to connect a device with a jack output to equipment that uses a DIN audio connection. The DIN connector has a standardized key position, which means the plug can only be inserted into the connection in one way. This prevents the connector from being inserted incorrectly and protects the pins from damage. The 5-pin DIN connection is often used for stereo audio transmission where multiple audio signals can be sent via a single connector. Specifications Brand: ALLTEQ Cable type: DIN to jack audio cable Connection 1: DIN 5-pin male Connection 2: jack 3.5 mm male Connector type: DIN 180° Signal type: analog audio connection Conductor size: AWG 28 Colour: black Warranty: 5 years Explanation DIN connector: round connector standard that was widely used in European audio equipment, especially in Hi-Fi systems from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. 5-pin DIN connector: connector with five pins often used for stereo audio connections and signal transmission between audio components. 3.5 mm jack: compact audio connection often used with portable audio equipment, computers, and other audio sources. 180° pin layout: configuration where the five pins are arranged in a semicircle. This is the most common DIN configuration for audio equipment. Analog audio connection: signal transmission where the audio signal is directly sent as an electrical signal between two devices.
