This cable is designed for connecting audio equipment with a 3-pin XLR connection. The cable transmits a balanced audio signal between, for example, microphones, mixing consoles, audio interfaces, amplifiers, and other professional audio equipment. A balanced XLR connection uses three conductors: pin 1 (ground / shield), pin 2 (positive signal), and pin 3 (negative signal). The negative signal is identical to the positive signal but in opposite phase. In the receiving equipment, both signals are combined, canceling out interference picked up along the way. The cable is constructed with a conductor configuration of (0.12 mm × 20) × 2. Multiple thin copper wires are bundled into two flexible conductors, achieving stable signal transmission and good bend resistance for the cable. The cable features braided shielding with a structure of 0.12 mm × 96. This shielding protects the audio signal from electromagnetic interference from, for example, power cables, lighting, and other electronic equipment. The cable has an outer diameter of approximately 6.5 mm, which provides a good balance between flexibility and mechanical protection of the internal conductors. At the ends are an XLR male connector and an XLR female connector with a locking mechanism, ensuring the cable clicks firmly into connected equipment.
