This optical audio cable is designed for transmitting a digital audio signal via a TosLink (optical S/PDIF) connection. The cable features a TosLink male connector on one side and a Mini-TosLink 3.5 mm male connector on the other side. This allows equipment with an optical TosLink connection to be connected to devices that use a 3.5 mm Mini-TosLink connection. The digital audio signal is transmitted via an optical fiber, making the connection insensitive to electromagnetic interference. The connectors have gold-plated contacts for a stable mechanical connection. The cable has a PVC jacket that protects the optical fiber from mechanical stress. The connectors are equipped with protective caps to protect the optical ends from dust and damage when the cable is not in use.
