This adapter creates extra clearance for the Steel Hitch to allow bicycle frames with closed or narrow dropouts to provide adequate clearance for the hitch. This adapter is also used for breezer style dropouts to correctly install the hitch. Choose the version that corresponds to your bike’s axle diameter and thread pattern.
