Description
The Boya USB Studio Microphone BY-PM500 is a condenser microphone suitable for various recordings, such as speech, interviews, conference calls, vocals, instruments, and podcasts. This functional microphone has two recording characteristics:
- Cardioid: sounds from the front are captured, while sounds from other directions are ignored. Suitable for dialogue, podcasts, and speeches.
- Omnidirectional: Sounds from all directions are captured evenly. Suitable for vivid, natural recording of voices, conversations, and surroundings.
The BY-PM500 is compatible with Windows and macOS and comes with both a USB-A and USB-C cable. It can also be used with other devices with a USB-C port, such as smartphones and tablets. The microphone is easy to use with software like Audacity or Audition to create and save audio recordings. Furthermore, the microphone is powered by the connected device, so no batteries are required.
The microphone can be mounted on a tripod using the 5/8" female thread on the bottom. It also features a volume control and a button to switch between different recording modes. Headphones can be connected via the 3.5mm output on the bottom for real-time monitoring of recorded audio.
