Abi 8-port patch panel

This is a CAT6a patch panel for centrally terminating and patching 8 network connections in a compact network setup with a height of 1U. This patch panel is used to centrally terminate fixed network cables and neatly patch them to active network equipment such as switches or routers. The LSA connection technology allows solid and stranded conductors to be connected without soldering or screws. Installation is possible in a 10-inch rack, but wall or desktop mounting is also suitable. The patch panel is electrically and constructively designed according to CAT6a specifications. This means that the connectors used, internal wiring, and shielding are optimized for a maximum signal bandwidth of 500 MHz. Cable categories such as CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT7, and CAT8 can be mechanically connected because they use the same RJ45 connector form factor and wire gauge. However, with categories higher than CAT6a, the additional bandwidth and shielding of those cables will not be fully utilized, as the patch panel itself determines the technical upper limit. For optimal performance, therefore, the maximum certified support extends up to CAT6a. The RJ45 ports and the metal casing are equipped with electromagnetic shielding. This shielding is intended to limit electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external electrical sources, thereby reducing signal disturbances and supporting a more stable network connection. This patch panel is suitable for passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) transmission within a CAT6a network installation. The panel itself does not provide power and contains no active components, but it does not interrupt the PoE voltage with correct termination and cabling.
