HDMI-A Male to VGA Male Adapter – Active – 1080p@60Hz This adapter allows a VGA display to be connected to a device with an HDMI port. The digital HDMI video signal is actively converted to an analog VGA signal by the adapter. The adapter only supports video transmission and does not output audio. Signal Direction (Important) The signal direction is fixed and unidirectional: HDMI source → adapter → VGA display. Use in the reverse direction (VGA to HDMI) is not possible. Compatibility (Important) The adapter is only suitable for systems with an on-board graphics card. Use with a PCIe / dedicated graphics card is not supported. Application The adapter is used to connect computers or other systems with an HDMI output and integrated graphics card to monitors or projectors that only have a VGA input. The adapter supports one VGA monitor at a time. Signal Conversion The adapter contains an active chipset that converts the digital HDMI video signal to analog VGA video.
