The PDU is suitable for use in 19-inch racks, server cabinets, and office environments and connects to the mains via a 2.15-meter long connection cable with a Type E/F (CEE 7/7) earthed plug. The eight sockets are linearly arranged and suitable for simultaneous use of connected equipment. The PDU is intended for indoor use and can be freestanding or mounted in a 19-inch rack. The integrated overload protection is designed to help prevent connected equipment from being stressed beyond permissible electrical values. The cable and internal wiring used are matched to the maximum electrical load of the PDU.
