Cable tester with tone generator and probe. This cable tester with tone generator can accurately detect short circuits, open circuits, broken wires, current leaks, and cable routes. The tester makes it possible to locate cable breaks without opening the wire insulation. Operation Connect the tone generator to the cable and use the probe to follow the audio signal. Once the cable break or interruption is reached, the audio signal stops or changes, allowing the fault location to be quickly determined.
