This Fast Ethernet media converter is an active network device that converts a copper-based Ethernet connection to a fiber optic connection and vice versa. The device is suitable for single-mode fiber optics with a wavelength of 1310 nm and supports distances up to 20 km when using 9/125 µm fiber optics.
