PCIe power cable

This PCI Express power cable is designed to provide additional power to PCIe cards. The cable converts a PCI Express 6-pin plug to a PCI Express 6+2-pin plug, allowing both 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe connections to be powered. The cable is suitable for systems with a free 6-pin PCIe power connector and is used, among other things, with graphics cards and breakout boards. This compatibility also makes the cable suitable for data mining applications.
