Abi 12-port patch panel

This is a CAT6 patch panel for centrally terminating and patching 12 network connections within a compact network setup with a 1U height. The patch panel features 12 RJ45 connections and a robust metal housing with electromagnetic shielding for stable signal transmission. This patch panel is used to centrally terminate fixed network cables and neatly patch them to active network equipment such as switches or routers. LSA connection technology allows wires to be connected without soldering, screwing, or stripping. Mounting is intended for 10-inch (25.4 cm) server racks and compact server cabinets. The patch panel is electrically and structurally designed according to CAT6 specifications. This means that the connectors, internal connections, and shielding used are designed for a maximum signal bandwidth of 250 MHz. Cable categories such as CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6a, CAT7, and CAT8 can be mechanically connected because they use the same RJ45 connector form and wire gauge. However, with categories higher than CAT6, the extra bandwidth and shielding are not fully utilized, as the patch panel itself determines the technical upper limit. For optimal performance, therefore, the maximum certified support extends to CAT6. The shielded RJ45 ports are integrated into a high-quality metal housing with electromagnetic shielding. The panel features an "Easy Open" construction, allowing the housing to be opened without screws or tools. This simplifies installation, inspection, and re-termination of cabling. The shielding is intended to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external electrical sources, thereby minimizing signal disturbances and supporting a more stable network connection. This patch panel is suitable for passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) pass-through within a CAT6 network installation. The panel itself does not supply power and contains no active components, but it does not interrupt the PoE voltage with correct termination and cabling.
