This antenna wall socket is designed for connecting televisions and radios within coaxial cable television and antenna systems. The wall socket has an IEC female connection for television and an IEC male connection for radio. The socket is used as a connection point within a coaxial network for cable installations such as cable television, radio, and DVB-T. The antenna socket is return path compatible, making it suitable for installations where two-way communication is required, such as interactive television or cable modems. The wall socket supports a frequency range for television of 5 – 1000 MHz and for radio of 87.5 – 139 MHz. The connection has a low connection loss of approximately 1 dB and is suitable for both surface-mounted and flush-mounted installations. The wall socket is supplied without a cover plate and without a surface-mounted frame.
