Correct impedance prevents signal reflections. EN 50117 is the European standard for coaxial cables and specifies, among other things, shielding classes and electrical performance. Class A within EN 50117 indicates a high level of shielding against electromagnetic interference, including LTE and 5G signals. 100 dB shielding effectiveness indicates the degree of suppression of external interference; the higher the value, the better the protection. Double shielding combines foil with braided shielding for optimal RF protection and mechanical stability.
