Then press the cap on and tighten the two screws. Inside the lampholder are two pins that then press through the festoon cable and thus automatically make contact. The lampholders can be placed at any desired position on the cable. Maximum cable load is approx. 2000 Watt, which corresponds to, for example, 80 lamps of 25 Watt. For outdoor use, the use of sealing rings is mandatory; these ensure a splash-proof seal between the lampholder and the bulb.
