Tequila

Tequila is a strong alcoholic drink that originates from Mexico and is made from the blue agave plant. The taste varies from fresh and slightly peppery to rich and woody, depending on the maturation. There are different types of tequila, such as Blanco (young and unexploded), Reposado (short-aged) and Añejo (long-aged). Tequila is often drunk neat, with salt and lime, or used as a base for well-known cocktails such as the margarita.
