Pitahayas, also known as dragon fruit, are striking tropical fruits with bright pink or yellow skin and green “scale”-like protrusions. Inside there is white or red flesh with small black edible seeds. The taste is mildly sweet and slightly fresh, often compared to a subtle mix of pear and kiwi.
