Music cassettes

Music cassettes are analog sound carriers in a compact tape cassette on which music can be recorded and played via a cassette player. They were especially popular in the 70s, 80s and 90s and included albums, mixtapes and personal recordings. Music cassettes are now often collected by enthusiasts of retro music and vintage media because of their nostalgic value and characteristic sound. They are compact, portable and an important part of the history of music playback media.
