Limequats

Limequats are small citrus fruits that are a cross between a lime and a kumquat. They have a thin, edible skin and contain juicy flesh with a fresh, slightly sour to mild lime flavor. The peel is often slightly sweet, giving the fruit as a whole a balanced sweet and sour taste. Limequats are usually eaten fresh, but also used in marmalades, desserts, cocktails and as a seasoning in dishes.
